Photographing designed spaces

Istana Interior Design photoshoot

By Rachel 15th February 2016

Photographer, Fergus Burnett and I had a very busy day at two locations in London shooting for Istana Interior Design*.

Photography was art directed with a concept of showing spaces not only looking beautifully designed but functioning well with people moving around within them. The focus was on the interior detail while people are blurred and active. The key messages were captured visually; transformation, quality, focus on detail, better working spaces.

Shots of Louise were taken of her at work while complimentary detail shots of sample books and mood boards show her methods. A sense of the designer, her personality and the quality of her work came across.

The resulting shots (some shown here) are beautiful and cover every aspect of her work. Fergus has taken each shot to fulfill my brief for usage on the website which is currently being built.
