THE CLIENT
The Autism Alliance UK is a national partnership of not-for-profit organisations that support autistic people and their families. Their members represent a range of sectors, including adult social care, education, and community support. They work together to share knowledge, skills and experience in ways which can improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for autistic people.

THE TASK
Design a logo and brand to launch this new organisation.

THE SOLUTION
The logo is set justified and in caps using a dark green with additional colours from blues, purples and reds which are considered calming to those with autism. An additional device using the width of the letters and spacing in the word 'ALLIANCE' was created to be used within the materials.

The creative concept to launch the policy document, website and other materials was to show images of people in different situations in black and white with certain figures remaining in full colour. This was to visually highlight that within the population many people have ADHD or autism. Artwork was created in collaboration with Charlotte Crawford 'The Autistic Artist'. Charlotte was asked to freely express how she sees the world differently using mixed media. Layering the colourful artwork over the black and white and full colour photos created the very striking and distinct imagery.
