Cardinal Hume Centre – Christmas Appeal Animation
THE CLIENT
The Cardinal Hume Centre gives homeless young people, families in need and individuals living in poverty the support they need to realise their full potential. The charity focusses on four areas: income, housing, education and skills, and legal status.
THE TASK
Create an engaging short animated video to highlight the Cardinal Hume Centre's work including a call to action to donate. To be launched and work with the Christmas Appeal mailing.
THE SOLUTION
Following on with the established animation style of James's and Ellie's Story this video was created to tell Leila's experiences and how the Cardinal Hume Centre helped her.
Leila's Story opens with Leila sitting on a bed, she looks worried. The dark background looms around her to depict her anxiety and unhappiness. Her children appear sitting next to her on the bed. An actor, speaking as Leila, explains her struggles and how the Cardinal Hume Centre gave their support. The dark background fades and Leila and her children are sitting on a sofa. A call to action and the Cardinal Hume Centre logo ends the video.
The video was created for the website and resized for other social media platforms. A shorter thank you video was cut and edited.
