Cardinal Hume Centre – Christmas Appeal Animation
THE CLIENT
The Cardinal Hume Centre gives homeless young people, families in need and individuals living in poverty the support they need to realise their full potential. The charity focusses on four areas: income, housing, education and skills, and legal status.
THE TASK
Create an engaging 45-60 second, animated video to highlight the Cardinal Hume Centre's work including a call to action to donate. To be launched and work with the Christmas Appeal mailing.
THE SOLUTION
Following on with the established animation style of James's Story this video was created to tell Ellie's experiences and how the Cardinal Hume Centre helped her.
Ellie's Story opens with a figure of Ellie looking confidently to the viewer, her children appear around her as she holds them. An actor, speaking as Ellie, explains her struggles and how the Cardinal Hume Centre gave their support. A call to action and the Help Santa Appeal logo ends the video.
Multiple videos were created with the Cardinal Hume Centre branding and the Help Santa Appeal branding for the website and other social media platforms.
THE RESULT
The 2022 Christmas Appeal campaign, including the video, was very successful. An extra ten thousand pounds in donations was received which went beyond what had been anticipated.
