Roshanara Paris

Limited-edition fashion and homewares

THE CLIENT
Roshanara Paris combines original designs with traditional craft techniques to offer limited-edition fashion and homeware collections.

THE TASK
Design a logo, branding and website with retail and wholesale shop in French and English.

THE SOLUTION
The logo incorporating a dandelion seed head graphic, in black and sulphur yellow, is simple and modern. All stationery, swing tags and labels feature the striking seed head with breaking out seeds.

A bespoke, responsive website with shop was designed to toggle between French and English, offering all products to retail and wholesale customers. Lifestyle photography features large on every page with succinct copy in English that was easily translated to French. Admin in the back-end is simple to do when managing the two languages, multiple colour variations and materials for each product.

Roshanara Akhund designs and curates products that celebrate imperfection with pleasing variations in embroidery, weaving, textures and colours. Producing limited-edition pieces, in fashion and homewares, her collections have an understated luxury. The lifestyle photography and product shots were planned and art-directed to fit the website's dimensions and responsive function to give full impact.

All photography was shot on location, in Spain, by fashion and lifestyle photographer John Britton. The specific 'brand' look to the photography has dramatic contrasts and muted hues. Models are in relaxed poses against rough textures and faded grandeur architecture, working well and complimenting the collections beautifully.
