Silverdale School, Silverdale Sixth Form and Westfield School photoshoots
It was another productive shoot with photographer Fergus Burnett as we returned back to school this September for a day working on two sites covering Silverdale School, Silverdale Sixth Form and Westfield School.
Working to a tight schedule we were asked to capture shots of Y7 pupils to communicate school life to be used in Y6 parents' guides and parents' evening communications. A further focus was given to the Sixth Form to update communications with new faces and to highlight new courses. All will be used in the refreshed and updated prospectus.
At Westfield School shots were taken of new staff, their teaching in action and pupils in their new uniform that is being phased in.
The style of photography is natural with movement and colour, giving the feel of the school environments, staff and young people. Focussing on the small details of every day school life to wider views of learning spaces and general architecture. Once the pupils and staff got used to the camera the result were strong, colourful and natural shots reflecting the schools in action.
The photography style is part of the Chorus brand which is the umbrella brand over the three schools.
